2018 San Diego OPEN and NOVICE MAS Wrestling Tournaments

All athletes competing in OPEN tournament must be current members of MAS Wrestling USA. NOVICE and first time competitors are not required to join MAS Wrestling USA. Weight Divisions are: Light Weight Women (LWW)–143lb (U65kg); Middle Weight Woman (MWW) – 187lb (U85kg); Open Women (OW) 188lb and above; Light Weight Men (LWM) -176lb (U80kg); Middle Weight Men (MWM) -231lb (U105kg); Open Men (OM) 232lb and above. Weight categories with 2 or less athletes merged with next higher weight category; weight categories with 3-5 athletes conducted in Round Robin format; and weight categories with 6 or more athletes conducted in a Double Elimination format to be determined based on number of athletes competing in a weight category.

AWARDS: 1st – 3rd in each weight category NOVICE and OPEN

ENTRY FEES: MAS Wrestling OPEN Early $40.00 and NOVICE $30 by 9/16/2018; $50 Open and $40 Novice by 10/6/2018

11:30 AM – Combat MAS™: MAS Wrestling NOVICE Tournament

9:00 AM – Late weigh-in and check in Visegrip Viking Armlifting Challenge and MAS Wrestling Tournaments.

12:00 PM – The San Diego OPEN MAS Wrestling Tournament Preliminary Rounds

4:30 PM – Award Ceremony
MAS Wrestling Championship 1st – 3rd Medals each weight category
Visegrip Viking Challenge Men’s and Women’s Overall Championship Awards
