As the founder of Five Star Pickles and Sausages, my journey is rooted in a deep passion for authenticity and tradition. It all began back in 1983 when I stepped into the world of butchery, serving in the army kitchens. Each slice, each cut, was an opportunity to perfect the craft that would later define our family’s legacy.
In 1989, I embarked on a new chapter in America, joining our relatives’ meat shop. It was there that I discovered the heart and soul of our trade, where tradition and authenticity were the cornerstones of everything we did.
The spark of inspiration struck me in 2007. Drawing from the rich tapestry of our Eastern European heritage, I envisioned blending our time-honored recipes with the finest cuts available. Bison, venison, elk, and later, the luxurious Wagyu beef, became the canvas upon which I painted our culinary masterpiece.
